What is OVX?

Our Voices Xposed (OVX) is Vermont’s youth-led movement working to end the influence of tobacco and nicotine on young people. OVX empowers students in grades 5-12 to educate their peers, community members, and decision-makers about the tobacco and vape industry’s deceptive marketing tactics.

The Role of an OVX Advisor: 

As an OVX advisor you will:  

  • Guide students in understanding tobacco industry tactics 
  • Facilitate youth-led initiatives and community outreach 
  • Support students in developing leadership and advocacy skills 
  • Help organize events and educational campaigns

OVX Youth Leadership Summit
October 30, 2024 | 9:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Lake Morey Resort, Fairlee
Registration

This event is not just about learning, but also about doing. Middle and high school students who join us will actively engage in understanding how the tobacco industry uses misleading advertising and promotions. They will also have the chance to develop leadership skills, organize tobacco prevention projects, and connect with other like-minded youth from across Vermont, all while having fun.

OVX Youth Statehouse Rally
February 11, 2025 | 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Statehouse, Montpelier
Registration begins January 2nd.

The Annual OVX Youth Statehouse Rally provides youth with a platform to educate and inform key decision-makers and fellow Vermonters about tobacco- and nicotine-related issues and harms, as seen and experienced firsthand. This annual event is open to any interested youth, youth group, or school grades 5-12 within Vermont. Registration is free, but pre-registration is required.
