2025 OVX Youth Statehouse Rally Registration

    February 11, 2025 | 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Statehouse, Montpelier

    The Annual OVX Youth Statehouse Rally provides youth with a platform to educate and inform key decision-makers and fellow Vermonters about tobacco- and nicotine-related issues and harms, as seen and experienced firsthand. This annual event is open to any interested youth, youth group, or school grades 5-12 within Vermont. Registration is free, but pre-registration is required.

    In the event we need to connect with you on the day of the event, please provide us with your cell phone number: *

    Please list all additional chaperones/ adults attending with your students. You must have adequate supervision for the students you bring to the Rally.

    Please only register youth who are committed to attending and have turned in the permission slips required by your school. Please provide the first and last name of each student. *

    If your school will be arriving after 9:30 a.m., please let us know so we can plan accordingly. *

    Do you anticipate visiting the Vermont History Museum with students while you are in town?  We would like to give the museum an idea of expected OVX visitors. As a reminder, there is no entrance fee for OVX groups. *

    Please let us know if any of your students are interested in speaking (2-3 minutes) on the Statehouse steps to raise awareness about what they are seeing/experiencing in their schools and communities regarding nicotine products and use among their peers. If so, please provide their first and last name and the concerns or issues they plan to speak about.

    Please provide us with the number of bagged lunches you would like to reserve for your students and any food allergies or food sensitivity issues we should be aware of. *

    Important Lunch Information

    • Bagged lunches will be handed out at lunch time. Detailed information will be provided in your event information packet, which you will receive prior to Rally.

    • The Statehouse does not allow any outside food, so lunches cannot be eaten inside the building unless purchased from the Statehouse cafeteria.
